HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ ... was a two-time all-state performer as well as being named the Arizona Player of the Year by three Arizona newspapers ... he was the Gatorade Circle of Champions Arizona Regional Player of the Year and the MVP of the Senior Prep BCI Tournament in Birmingham, Alabama where 36 teams from across the country competed ... he set school records his senior year averaging 24.7 ppg (766 points) and 7.0 assists per game ... he started the last 78 games of his varsity career leading his team to the state championship his junior year and the runner-up spot his senior campaign .. . he shot 57.0% from the field and 70.0% from the line his senior year ... he averaged 22.6 ppg his junior year.
