DISTRICT 43 INFORMATION Representative Sharon Cooper represents the 43rd district which is located in East Cobb County, the third largest county in the state of Georgia. It is located just north of Atlanta. The 43rd district is basically bordered by the Chattahoochee River and 120 Loop with Powers Ferry as its western edge and Johnson Ferry as the eastern boundary.

Melanie Dallas is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Chief Executive Officer for Highland Rivers Health. Melanie has 25 years’ experience working in behavioral healthcare with approximately 10 years of that in executive leadership. Melanie is an alumna of the National Council Executive Leadership Program. She is the current Chair of the Administration Committee for the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards. Melanie is a member of the Clinical Appeals Committee for the Administrative Services Organization and the Advisory Council for Qualifacts (electronic health records provider). Melanie is a trainer for STAR Behavioral Health which is an organization that trains clinicians statewide to understand, assess, and counsel members of the military and their families. She has also recently provided training on value based purchasing and clinical evidence based practices to members of Behavioral Healthcare Executives. Melanie Dallas, LPC
