Dear Friends and Residents of Buxton, Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your State Senators. We are honored and humbled by the responsibility of representing you, your families, and our community in Augusta. We promise to work hard to do just that. This legislative session has been different from any before. We are working remotely when we can and having virtual committee meetings to keep legislators, staff and the public safe in the face of COVID-19. Live video streams of committee meetings are available through the Legislature’s YouTube channel, and folks are able to participate in the legislative process by testifying on bills virtually. Despite the unusual circumstances, we have made the necessary changes to maintain transparency in our work and protect every Mainer’s right to have a voice in our government. Even with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout underway, people in Maine are still struggling. It is our utmost priority to support legislation that will help hardworking Maine families get back on their feet. Doing so will not only help our state recover in the short-term, but also set us up for long- term success beyond the pandemic. We ask that you keep doing your part to keep your family, friends and neighbors safe. We greatly appreciate your efforts over the past year as we have fought this virus. If you have any questions or concerns, we are always available to listen and to help. Please email Sen. Bailey at Donna.Bailey@legislature.maine.gov or email Sen. Brenner at Stacy.Brenner@legislature.maine.gov. You can also call our office at (207) 287-1515. We also encourage you to sign up to our emailing lists to receive our regular legislative updates. You can do so at www.mainesenate.org. Sincerely, Dear Friends and Residents of Buxton, Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your State Senators.
