STEP ONE Clips are suitable for both 1/2" and 5/8" thick drywall. Slip drywall repair clips onto the edge of the damaged wall. Position screw about 3/4" from edge and centered between tabs. STEP TWO

Measure and cut out new drywall panel section to fit damaged area. Screw through new drywall into each drywall repair clip. Screw into drywall; position screw opposite screw holding clip and about 3/4" from edge.

STEP THREE

Remove tabs from each drywall repair clip. Apply compound and tape to all four section sides. Do not overlap tape. After

first coat has hardened, apply second and third coats of joint com- pound—allowing each coat to harden before applying next coat— feathering out from previous coats. Sand and prime when dry.
