Retail Update

Amazon Fresh The Business Development team has been working diligently since the December board meeting on initiating an e-commerce platform and promotion with Amazon Fresh. At the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, we had an excellent meeting that proposed national distribution for multiple cheese items, with support that would include a “Top Center Graphic” ad on the Amazon Fresh homepage and create a “landing page” for cheese items that carry the Real California Milk Seal. Amazon has responded with listing ten new

California cheeses nationally on Amazon Fresh, from four processors: Cacique, Point Reyes, Rumiano, and Marin French. Additionally, they listed Di Stefano Burrata and Ricotta within the California market. The Amazon private label team has launched fluid milk with the Seal into their California Amazon Fresh distribution system (label pictured on right). We are talking with Amazon now about how to integrate cheese and fluid milk promotions.

Cheese Sampler

Bob Constantino developed this sampler kit as a way to more efficiently extend our demo budget. Its design is meant to balance communicating Real California Milk while still allowing customization and branding by the processors.

Year to date we have shipped 2,300 sample kits.
