v Nestle Cold Brewed and Iced Coffees Nestle, being the largest food company in the world, is interested in maintaining both a local and national presence with the Real California Milk Seal. Our advertising campaign fits with the messaging they are communicating to their customers – promoting real food with fewer ingredients. They also like showing where the food comes from, something today’s consumers are very interested in knowing. Nestle is continuing to partner with the CMAB on these great items, made from 100% Real California Milk. They are expanding their business this year, going national in distribution, adding new flavors and new sizes.

v Store Brands (Private Label) is Big Business Store Brands represent over $160 Billion in sales through all retail channels. Another way to explain the growing popularity of private label – over 20% of all items purchased in grocery stores are private label items. This is increasing as large retailers see the many benefits of developing and promoting their own brands to their customers. We are also helping to educate our partner processors on the benefits of becoming private label suppliers to retailers. This includes items such as Milk, Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Sour Cream, Ice Cream, Ice Cream Novelties, Gelato, Cheese, Specialty Cheeses, Whipping Cream, Butter, Spreadabe Butter, to name a few. The CMAB will be exhibiting for our third consecutive year at the annual Private Label Manufacturers Association Tradeshow in Chicago this coming November. It will be our largest presence, with nine processors representing numerous dairy categories. Processors exhibiting in our California Dairy section include: Rizo Lopez, Karoun, Santini Foods, Ramar Foods, SSI, Crystal Creamery, Scott Brothers, Pacific Cheese, Brother’s Desserts.
