"Sisterhood and Service"

G amma Phi Beta was chartered at USD on October 27, 1984 to pro– mote a strong sense of sorority life. Since then Gamma Phi Beta has contin– ued to grow in sisterhood and service to the Univenity community. The sorority worked in many community service events including the Bayside Set– tlement Home, the Linda Vista Multi– Cultural Fair, Urban Plunge and the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. Gamma Phi Beta sisters also serve in various lead– enhip roles on campus.

Some of their social activi ties included exchanges with varioua fra ternitiea, Parent's Weekend, building a Homecoming float, Date Dash Partiea, and of course the Crescent Ball. As the year came to an end, the sisters of the chapter agreed that the joy, fun and pride in the sorority came from a combi· nation of all aspecta of its involvement social, philanthropic and involvement in campus life.
