A real life situation should be utilized to talk about how an unstable ecosystem was brought to stability, like the wolves in yellowstone, etc. Students could research an invasive species in the state of Utah and discuss the efforts that have been utilized to rid the species from the ecosystem. Information can be found on the national Invasive Species Information Center Website.
