PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION COMMITTEE NEWS

One aspect of the Chapter’s mission is to promote the professional develop- ment of our members. In preparing for the 2019 Tony Hodge Educational Award presentation at the FCIAAO Annual Conference in St. Petersburg, I did a little research. Since 1999, there have been 151 Tony Hodge Educational Award recipients, resulting in over $58,000 in award money to new IAAO designees. Wow! And since we all enjoy a little friendly competition, I thought I’d also share the re- sults of which counties have produced the most recipients. As indicated be- low, twenty-four counties have at least one recipient. Clay and Leon are tied for fourth with nine each; Orange has fifteen; Palm Beach is in second place with twenty-six; and Pinellas is the leader with forty. Shazam!
