Every year we celebrate Grandparents Day in the school by inviting grandparents to come to the school and visit the children in their classes. We have storytelling, question time and a trip down memory lane for the grandparents as well as a cup of tea and a chat. Grandparents Day

Sleep Initiative

We introduced a very worthwhile sleep initiative to the school this year. Children were given the opportunity to reflect on the amount of sleep they were getting nightly and how this might be impacting on their mood and their achievement in school. Many children were surprised to learn that they were not getting enough sleep and were encouraged to have a conversation with their parents and caregivers to see how this could be improved. The children then took part in a poster competition based on what they had learned. The winners from each class group are pictured with Mrs. Cronin our Principal.
