Annual Parish Cemetery Masses 2026

Now Open - Athenry Community Garden and Nature Park Exception: The Mass for Templemoyle Cemetery will be held in Newcastle Church if weather conditions require a change of venue. Any changes will be announced on the evening through the Parish Radio and Parish Webcam. Appeal to Parishioners The Cemetery Committees kindly ask all parishioners to prepare family graves in advance of the annual Cemetery Masses by: Tidying graves and surrounding areas. Removing grass and weeds. Disposing of old and weathered wreaths and floral tributes. If possible, please also help care for neglected graves where there are no known living relatives. Please do not leave or dump bags of rubbish in any of the cemeteries. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in helping to maintain our cemeteries as respectful and dignified places of remembrance. The Cemetery Masses will take place on the following dates: * Monday, 10 August – Moorpark Cemetery * Tuesday, 11 August – Templegeall Cemetery * Wednesday, 12 August – Willmount Cemetery * Thursday, 13 August – Templemoyle Cemetery * Friday, 14 August – Athenry New Cemetery Wet Weather Arrangements In the event of inclement weather, all Cemetery Masses will be transferred to Athenry Church and will commence at the same scheduled time.
