ANNUAL REPORT Parks & Recreation

I would like to thank all of the volunteers that helped with the construction of the pavilion at the fairgrounds, especially Don Densmore. Without the help of Don, the project would still not be complete. He gave up four weekends and even left late for his vacation to make sure that the project was completed. We are continuously looking to grow and enrich our Parks and Recreation Department. If you have any ideas and/or suggestions that would help us in doing this, please feel free to reach out to the Parks & Recreation Director. I want to say “THANK YOU” to all of the volunteers and the Recreation Committee for your countless hours of dedication to the Town and the Recreation Department. Without them, none of our programs would be possible. This has been the most difficult Town Report that I have written. My family and I are moving back to my home state of Ohio. The State of Maine and the Town of New Gloucester will always be in my heart. I cannot begin to put in to words how great of an experience I have had working with the community and the office staff over the past seven years. I am and will always be eternally grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a great town and community.
