Natural fibres - the most natural thing in the world

100 % organic wool

Merino wool is the softest type of wool and is up to seven times thinner than Finnsheep wool. That’s why it feels pleasant even against bare skin. The wool we use is suitable for almost anyone to use, as it does not contain any ingredients that cause or exacerbate allergies. A wool knit flexes along with the wearer’s movement, and it is breathable, so it won’t make you sweat in warm weather. Wool is nature’s own smart fibre, a product developed by sheep living in a wide range of conditions, and which adapts to the wear- er’s body. Curly wool fibre binds air to itself, balancing out differ- ences in temperature. It can absorb up to 40% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet. In addition, it neutralises skin secre- tions, such as sweat. All of the GOTS-certified merino wool we use comes from South America, where the mulesing procedure, which is painful for the sheep, is not required.

• The softest wool of all • Feels good on the skin • Pleasantly flexible • Warms comfortably • Breathes and does not make you sweat • Absorbs moisture without feeling wet • Keeps you warm even when moist • Neutralizes body odour • Airing helps to remove odours • Is fireproof

• Mulesing-free • GOTS-certified

The basis of organic wool production lies in the pastureland and wellbeing of the sheep, so attention is paid to e.g. the fertility of the soil and to the health of the sheep. In addition, certification requires that the same organic principles are followed all the way through to washing, dyeing and knitting.
