The men\ soccer team, named in the 2002 WCC coaches poll as the pre-season.favorite to claim the conference Litle, warmed up for the season with an eight-da_,· trip to England Aug. 14 - 22. Th e Toreros wmi al/ fou r matches aga inst club teamsfrom London and Liverpool. /1is the third time in recent years that the team has traveled to Eu rope, and the second journey to Eng land. Coach Seamus McFadden also organized a trip in / 997 10 Ireland, his nati ve country. "The trips are a great oppo rtunity for ou r kids 10 immerse 1hemselves in the soccer cult ure," says McFadden.
