Mason Cash Terracotta Bread Form and stones benefit from centuries old traditions of baking in porous clay. Unglazed terracotta is porous and will draw in moisture from whatever touches its surface. It will draw moisture away giving it a crispier crust when baked. Our clay cooker also benefits from the properties of unglazed terracotta, soaking in water that can then be released inside the pot when roasting.
