Vice Principal (VP) Student Engagement & Experiential Development The VP Student Engagement & Experiential Development provides leadership and strategic oversight for student engagement, experiential learning opportunities and student leadership programming residing both within and outside the school. This includes working to explore and implement experiential learning opportunities that align with Havergal’s strategic plan. The VP Student Engagement and Experiential Development provides leadership and strategic oversight for the Forum for Change and its Global Experience Programming, the school’s work on diversity, equity and identity, and social innovation programming. The VP consults with faculty, staff and other school leaders in dealing with serious student discipline issues and faculty / staff accountability related issues. Vice Principal (VP) School Life & Student Wellness The VP School Life & Student Wellness provides leadership and strategic oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Upper School (Grades 7 to 12), which includes the Boarding School (Grades 9 to 12). The VP School Life & Student Wellness also works collaboratively with the School Nurse, Social Worker, Guidance Department, Head of Junior School, Head of Middle School and Head of Boarding School, and Head of Senior School to ensure that students’ social, emotional, health and wellness needs are addressed from JK to Grade 12. ​ Havergal’s approach to supporting the wellness needs of students is to establish a circle of care that places the student at the centre. The VP School Life & Student Wellness also consults with faculty, staff and other school leaders in dealing with serious student discipline and faculty / staff accountability related issues. Executive Director (ED) of People & Culture The Executive Director of People & Culture provides leadership and strategic oversight in the development and implementation of contemporary human resource frameworks that continue to attract and retain a highly engaged, committed and professional workforce. As well, the ED of People & Culture is responsible for consulting with senior leaders to align and implement human resources policies and programs that support Havergal’s philosophy, objectives and strategic plan, as well as providing HR support to all employees.
