Hawkins Dining Room

The Hawkins Dining Room is located in the Upper School and provides an array of healthy and delicious options for students, faculty and staff to enjoy in a welcoming and friendly dining atmosphere. With a focus on local food and scratch cooking, features include house made soups, a plentiful salad bar, hot lunch entrées and a wide selection of options to suit all tastes. Allergen icons are featured on all menus allowing guests with special dietary requirements to navigate the menus with ease. The dining room is open from Monday to Friday and food and beverages can be purchased by students with their security swipe card. Students must show their swipe card for all transactions.

Homeroom

A homeroom is a group of Junior School students in the same grade, taught by a designated teacher.

House Banner

The House banners, dating back to 1957, hang in Brenda Robson Hall with the name of the winning House and House Captain. It is awarded to the House Captain annually—at the end of the school year. In 1980, the Junior School began a record of annual House accomplishments with a House Banner in the Junior School. House banner points are awarded for academic, athletic, artistic, co-curricular and community participation and contributions and House competition including intramurals and House Shout.
