House System The House System forms the basis for cross-grade community building. There are 10 Houses, which have been named in honour of women who have contributed to the well-being of Havergal. Junior Dons (JDs) Junior Dons are student leaders who serve in the Boarding School in their Grade 11 or 12 year. There are two to three Junior Dons in each Boarding family. They serve as a support to their Dons and act as big sisters to family members. In addition, they organize programs for both their own family and for the Boarding School as a whole.

Learning Hub

The Learning Hub is a teaching and learning resource space where students in JK to Grade 6 can access desktop and laptop computers. Additionally, the Learning Curated online resources and databases are available for students.

Lisa Hardie Woodland Trail

This beautiful woodland trail was created in the ravine south of the Junior School by the Hardie family in memory of their daughter, Lisa, Class of 1993. It is the centrepiece of the Burke Brook Stewardship project.

Music Tower

Located at the front entrance of the Upper School building, the Music Tower was originally part of the Boarding School but is now used solely for private instrumental and vocal lessons.
