Pick-Up

Pick-up takes place between 3:15 and 3:45 pm. To facilitate pick-up, there is a staggered dismissal process. ● 3:15 pm - 3:30 pm (JK -SK)

● 3:25 pm - 3:50 pm (Grade 1–Grade 2) ● 3:35 pm - 3:50 pm (Grade 3–Grade 6)

Families with daughters in more than one grade are asked to come in the time slot that is designated for your eldest daughter’s grade. Students that are not picked up by 3:50 pm will be brought inside. A member of the Security team will continue to call students until 4 pm so that parents / caregivers do not have to enter the school, should they not wish to. Any students not picked up by 4 pm, will go to Gator Care. The charge for Gator Care begins at 4 pm. Students Not Getting Picked-Up Students who walk home—either alone or with a sibling—take public transit, have multiple people who pick them up on a regular basis (e.g., other parents, a caregiver or grandparent) or leave the school with an outside provider (taxi, car service or Uber) must put this information on Veracross so that the school has a record of each Junior School student’s pick-up arrangements. This is a matter of safety and is a priority to the school. Thank you for your compliance. In some instances, pick-up plans unexpectedly change. In these cases, parents / guardians must call or email the Junior School Office to authorize the change. Students going home with another student must have permission in advance from a parent and the teacher must also be informed. Students are not permitted to use the school telephone to arrange playdates. Please note that if your daughter is participating in after-school clubs programming or athletics, they will have a later dismissal time (4:45 - 5 pm). In this case, parents are asked to wait in front of the Learning Hub to collect their daughter.
