Daniel Sullivan was born and raised in Weymouth, Massachussetts, in 1943. After graduating from high school in 1960, he immediately joined the US Coast Guard and served for four years, visiting ports from Newfoundland to Rio de Janeiro. After completing his service commitment, Dan joined New England Telephone and stayed with them until he retired from the company (now named Verizon). During his employment, he took night courses at Newbury College, working toward a degree in business. Dan still resides in Weymouth and enjoys traveling, boating, and fishing in his spare time. During the service and later, Dan always had the urge to pick up a pen and write short stories for friends and associates. He published two books in The Princess series in earlier years, but this is his latest story. Dan says anyone who ventures into the world of fiction should have a vivid imagination and the willingness to commit to the sometimes tedious time involved.
