D I AGNÓS T I CO Presentación clínica Antecedentes • La enfermedad puede iniciar en semanas o hasta 12 meses después de la infección. • Los síntomas generalmente incluyen cefalea, mialgias y fatiga. • Se caracteriza por paroxismos periódicos de rigidez y fiebres con cefalea, tos y náusea que terminan con una sudoración profusa.
