Cable Consultants Corporation (CCC) will be exhibiting its Primary wire wipe unit, together with literature detailing its full range of cable making machines. CCC represents several European companies (including Vom Hagen & Funke, Nexans, Gimax Group and Dunst GmbH) who combined manufacture the complete range of cabling and extrusion lines for the wire and cable industry. Commission Brokers Commission Brokers will display photos and brochures of currently available used equipment, as well as information about the company’s appraisal, liquidation and consignment capabilities. Commission Brokers specializes in non-ferrous wire and cable equipment, wire harness/ assembly/processing equipment, and braiding machinery, from individual components to complete plants. Conductix Wampfler For over 40 years, Conductix Wampfler (Delachaux Group) has been providing equipment to the fiber and cable markets. An estimated 50 million kilometers of bare silica fiber is produced each year on Conductix Wampfler equipment. Over 100 complete fiber optic draw tower drawing lines and more than 300 proof testers are in use worldwide. For copper cable production, over 60 Rollertwist stranders - a unilay stranding

and longitudinal taping units, traditional cable equipment such as payoffs and take-ups, caterpillar, dual flyers, rotating capstans and accumulators. Also available is a range of high-speed PLC-controlled fiber optic cable produc- tion equipment, including SZ stranding lines; microtube and loose tube lines with good EFL control; and individual items such as automatic spool change dual take-ups and fiber payoffs. DeWal Industries DeWal will be presenting skived PTFE, used primarily because of its high temperature resistance, critical dielectric strength and extremely low friction. Virgin or conductive, DeWAL skived PTFE can be specified as thin as 0.013mm, as used in aerospace, power and high-flex cable applications. DeWal will also display its unsintered PTFE, used primarily as insulation and outer jacketing for wire and cable at temperatures up to 246°C. DeWal manufactures unsintered PTFE from 0.038mm to 0.508mm, with a density of 1.5g/cc.
