Naval contract for JKM

JKM Manufacturing has won an $8.5 million contract to provide cable assemblies and wiring harnesses for weapons systems in support of the Naval Air Systems command, the Naval Sea Systems command and the US Special Operations command. JKM is a manufacturer of complex wire harness assemblies and other specially engineered products, manufacturing products for military contracts directly and as a subcontractor to partners in the defense, aviation, communications and aerospace industries. “We’re honored to be working with the US Navy and its various operations,” said Chad B White, CEO of JKM. “JKM Manufacturing is committed to partnering with our customers to deliver on-time, quality components in defense of our nation. All of us who work at JKM are dedicated to the men and women who defend our country.” JKM’s general manager Lexington W Scroggins said the latest contract is for five years and is a firm-fixed price IDIQ (indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity) award. The work will be performed at JKM’s plant in Eufaula, Alabama, and is scheduled to be completed by September 2016.
