Broke his own single-season earnings record with $507,921, becoming the first PRCA cowboy to surpass a half-million dollars in a year. He also broke the earnings record for a single rodeo with his $211,509 at the Wrangler NFR to earn the inaugural Ram Top Gun Award. Won the tie-down average with a time of 88.6 seconds on 10 head. With partner Patrick Smith finished second in the team roping average while setting event earnings records for heading at the NFR ($120,419) and in a single season ($201,392).
