James Harris James Harris is a Church Music Major (saxophone performance), and theatre minor from Chesapeake, Virginia; class of 2023. Marc Harshman Marc Harshman’s WOMAN IN RED ANORAK, Blue Lynx Prize, was published in 2018 by Lynx House Press. His fourteenth children’s book, FALLINGWATER, co-author, Anna Smucker, was published by Roaring Brook/Macmillan. He is co-winner of the 2019 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award and his Thanksgiving poem, “Dispatch from the Mountain State,” was printed last year in the New York Times . Appointed in 2012 he is the seventh poet laureate of West Virginia. Carrington Hawthorne Carrington Hawthorne is an English and Theatre graduate of Bluefield University currently employed at the Tazewell County Public Library. Linda Hudson Hoagland Linda Hudson Hoagland of Tazewell has won numerous awards for her work, including first place for the Pearl S. Buck Award for Social Change, the Sherwood Anderson Short Story Contest, plus first place in 3 categories at the 2020 Chautauqua Festival, that included Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. Mary Ann Honaker Mary Ann Honaker is the author of Becoming Persephone (Third Lung Press, 2019) and currently lives in Beaver, WV. Sydney Horton Sydney Horton is a local commuter to Bluefield University and enjoys reading, writing, and music. Joe Jeremy Joe Jeremy is a happy poet living in Sausalito, California. Kate Jones Kate Jones graduated from Bluefield College and is now a freelance writer in Alabama. Mary Jones Mary Jones is a 2020 graduate of Bluefield College/University, and is happily checking out books and teaching people how to use Facebook as a librarian in Tazewell County.
