Homestead Ad Valorem Tax Credit for Deployed Military Personnel

Qualifying service members are required to complete an application identifying on which of the three operations they were deployed, the dates deployed during 2011, and proof of said deployment.

Constitutional Amendment provides additional Homestead Ad Valorem Tax Credit for Deployed Military Personnel. Available to members of United States military or military reserves, The United States Coast Guard or its, reserves who receive a homestead exemption and were deployed in the previous year on active duty outside the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii in support of military operations designated by the Florida legislature. Constitutional Amendment effective beginning with the 2011 assessment year.

Deadline to file timely is March 1, 2012.
