INTERNATIONAL BAR ASSOCIATION The International Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators announce a two-day seminar on "TWO PARALLEL ARBITRATIONS — PRACTICE POINTS ARISING UNDER THE SAME DISPUTE. ONE UNDER CIVIL LAW AND THE OTHER UNDER COMMON LAW", to be held on 4/5 April 1986 in London. The objective of the seminar is, by a comparison of approaches, to ascertain in practice how to draft reference to arbitration and how preparation for and conduct of arbitration can be made more effective — with special reference to a construction industry dispute. The Section on General Practice of the International Bar Association announces a two-day seminar on the subject of "MANAGING YOUR PARTNERSHIP", to be held on 15/16 April at the New Piccadilly Hotel, London. The seminar will address the internal and management questions facing medium-sized firms and especially those firms who are at risk of suffering from growing pains.
