'95-96 PROSPECTUS The 1995-96 season will

begin with the most experienced team that we have had in several years. With our top five players returning and the addition of two veteran transfer students and two --F-ra_n_k_C_a-te-s~ excellent freshmen, we are look- ing for a strong showing this year. Senior and returning # l player Jerramy Hainline is looking for his finest year in a very distinguished college career. Senior Matt Freeman, last year's #2 man, offers experi– ence and solid play. A trio ofjuniors, Ryan Semro, Hee Wood and Aaron Shannahan, give the team exceptional depth. Those expected to challenge the topplayers for spots includejunior LarryCampbell, and sophomores Kevin Rodgers and Erik Jacobsen. Transfer students Brian Marchiori and Tony Snoey, both juniors, are solid players who should give the teamquality, steady play. Freshmen Keshav Misra and Steve Tolpa are two excep– tional high school standouts who will be looking for playing time. The University ofSan Diego participates in NCAA Division I and is a member of the West Coast Conference (WCC) . The conference championship will be played on the Bayonet course at Fort Ord, California (near Monterey) on April l & 2, 1996. The Toreros will host the USO/ Ashworth Invitational on March 11 & 12, 1996 at the EastLake Country Club. The West Coast Conference (WCC) con– sists of: Gonzaga University, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, University of Portland, Saint Mary's College, University of San Diego, University ofSan Francisco and SantaClara University. SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION The University of San Diego men's golf program presently offers scholarship assistance. Financial aid is available to any incoming student, and many of our athletes at the University are currently on financial aid.
