The founders of the University were the Diocese of San Diego and the Reli– gious of the Sacred Heart. The purpose of USD Founders Club is to preserve the spirit of these founders. This spirit in– cludes encouraging students to develop the tradition of social awareness that in– spires action in our local community by serving as examples. The USD Founders Club also serves as a gateway for those who chose to become an alumnus of the Sacred Heart (international/national/ and local) upon graduation from USD.
