Long-Term Temporary Assignment $23.75 - $31.76 hourly rate + 15% in lieu of benefits

POSITIONS: The Human Resources Department is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to perform a wide variety of responsible and confidential administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources department. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and members of the public. This position will work 40 hours per week and is a long term temporary assignment that may last up to six months. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:  Responds to questions and requests for service from the public and other City employees in person and in writing  Provides a high level of customer service, both internally and externally  Provides administrative support to all divisions of Human Resources including Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Labor Relations  Scans, files, and maintains confidential records  Types or enters data, proofreads, and processes a variety of documents including general correspondence, memos, and statistical charts from rough draft, audio recordings or verbal instruction using computer software applicable to assignment  Operates standard and specialized office equipment including computer equipment  May order and purchase supplies  Maintains personnel files and records for department personnel including employees evaluations and disciplinary actions
