5.3. Numerical Modal analysis To evaluate the dynamic properties of the bridge, a numerical modal analysis was conducted on the developed FE model. The results of the numerical modal analysis are shown in figure 11 (a) and (b). Modal analysis, reveals that the steel box girder's first lateral frequency is 8.742 Hz, and its bending frequency is 10.603 Hz. The results are very close to AVT results, Since the bridge was modeled with some assumptions based on the following parameters, boundary conditions, bearings, rails etc. Higher accuracy will be depending on an exact replica of the actual one which will be carried out for the future work.
