Estimating the results of distribution by clusters after sorting by the indicator of total assets (X4), presented in Table 3, one can see a sequential increase and decrease in the values of variable X1 (number of divisions). At the same time, the growth of variable X4 (the value of total assets) is accompanied by the growth of the average number of employees (X2) and the value of depreciation charges (X6). The upward and downward trend in the values of variable X1 (number of divisions) is most clearly seen in clusters 2, 3 and 5. Thus, if in cluster 2 the average number of units is 1.2, then in the next cluster (cluster 3) the average number of units increases to 5.1 and then decreases to 1 in cluster 5. If we compare (see Table 4) the results of the cluster analysis with the proposed theoretical model of development of the organizational structure of industrial enterprises, we can see only partial coincidence of the results obtained (clusters 2, 3 and 5). In order to clarify the type of organizational structure of enterprises included in clusters 1 and 4, the authors have conducted additional research on the distribution of variables in these clusters.
