4. Conclusion There is no discussion that vision systems have a place in automation in any field of human activity. We can design and offer solutions for many different applications. In this paper only the automotive industry was considered and three examples of use were shown. Manufacturers of optical systems have come up with new products that integrate many features that facilitate implementation and handle tasks, that have recently been difficult to solve. Thanks to a wide portfolio of cost-effective smart cameras, qualified integrators can solve vision applications faster and more cost-effectively than ever before. Vision systems bring long-term benefits to manufacturers, whether in terms of quality, speed and accuracy, or reducing manpower costs.
