Football Escapes provide premier football coaching courses in partnership with some of the finest and most exclusive resorts around the world. The difference is, all our courses are led by current and ex-professional footballers. Our relationship with hotels and resorts means we’re able to provide families with best available

prices for their holiday. All combined, we work to create memories that last a lifetime. Football escape courses are held within the grounds of the Parklane Resort and Spa’s children’s area, set across two pitches. The courses are open to children of all abilities, aged 5-15. Attendees are provided with transportation to and from the pitch.

THE COURSES

ON AND OFF THE PITCH

As all our courses are led by legends of the game, players like Rio Ferdinand, Teddy Sheringham and Eidur Gudjohnsen and provide the opportunity for children to learn from the best. Our players are supported by an incredible team of UEFA licensed coaches, all of whom come from renowned English Premier League clubs. Our courses are open to children of all abilities, aged 5-15 and provide a week’s worth of football coaching, consisting of approximately two hours of daily football activity. Each child that enrols on our courses is provided with a full kit including; a shirt, shorts and socks, as well as a signed certificate and medal on completion of the week’s course.

Our players and coaches immerse themselves fully on and off the pitch providing families a money can’t buy experience to help make that special holiday even more exceptional. Whether its around the pool, by the bar or at breakfast, our team are on hand and always happy to say hello. What’s more, this all takes place at one of the best resorts and spa hotels in the world, Park Lane, Limassol of the most breathtaking locations in the world. BOBBY ZAMORA

Rio Ferdinand is one of England’s most decorated players, having won 81 caps, playing in three FIFA World Cups as well as captaining his country. He started his professional career with West Ham United in 1995 and then joined Leeds before Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United came calling in 2002. It was here where Ferdinand won the majority of his extensive list of honours including six Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. For club and country, Rio played 595 matches, scoring 14 goals.

Bobby Zamora started his professional career in 1999 at Bristol Rovers before moving on to Brighton and Hove Albion where he became an instant fans favourite, scoring 70 goals in 119 appearances. It wasn’t too long before the Premier League clubs came calling including Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Fulham. It was here where then England manager, Fabio Capello called Zamara up, winning this first England cap. A prolific striker, over his 17 year career he scored 182 goals in 564 matches.

Teddy Sheringham began his career at Millwall before joining Nottingham Forest and then Tottenham Hotspur. After five seasons at Spurs, Sheringham joined Manchester United where he won three Premiership titles, the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League and in 2001 he was named PFA Players’ Player of the Year. The pinnacle of his career came when he scored the equaliser and provided the assist for Manchester United’s winning goal in the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final against Bayern Munich.

Eidur Gudjohnsen has enjoyed a prolific 22 year career in front of goal, having played for 16 different clubs around the world, scoring 115 goals. His big break came in 1998 when he joined then Premier League team, Bolton Wanderers. It was here where he caught the eye of Chelsea, a club he joined in 2000 and where he won three league titles. Gudjohnsen was later signed by giants FC Barcelona, where he won a La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League. He remains Iceland’s all- time leading goal scorer.
