Welcome to Hartpury We hope you’re getting excited about joining us in a couple of weeks. As your Student Experience team, we can’t wait to meet you and help you to settle in. We’ll do everything we can to make sure your time here is the best it can possibly be. Kick off your first week at university with a legendary Freshers’ Week! Get involved in a calendar of amazing activities (take a sneak peek on pages 4 - 5) – the Wednesday bar crawl in Gloucester is one not to be missed! With lots going on all over campus, Freshers’ Week is the best way to make new friends, get to know your housemates and discover your new home before you start your course. This essential Freshers’ Guide will tell you everything you need to know about your Freshers’ Week, and beyond. Get the scoop on some of the biggest events in the Hartpury diary and discover your student spaces around campus. You’ll meet your Students’ Union (see page 8), find out how our officers can help you, and find out about Hartpury Active. And remember, we’re here for you.
