II. TUMI Resources

In general, there are few resources designed explicitly for church planters working among the urban poor. The Urban Ministry Institute provides one exception to this general rule. Between 1995 and 2015 more than fifty books, training courses, and booklets have been published to resource those working among the poor. The resources listed below are relevant to both church planting and to the continued growth and health of urban churches serving the poor. Those specifically focused on the topic of church planting are marked with an asterisk. Don Davis. Black and Human: Rediscovering King as a Resource for Black Theology and Ethics . [Orig. 2000].
