2. Evangel’s ABCs: Assessment, Boot Camp, Coaching

a. Assessment: the process of recruiting and assessing church planters called to work among the poor

b. Boot Camp: the process of training and commissioning church planters to plant churches among the poor

c. Coaching: the process of encouraging and mentoring church planters to grow in wisdom as they plant churches among the poor

3. Assessment is a process which includes:

a. The recruitment of church planters

b. The assessment of potential church planters

4. Boot Camp is a process which includes

a. Strategic planning of church planters before, during, and after the Evangel Urban Church Plant School

b. A public commissioning of a church planter and a team to plant a church in a specific location during a specific amount of time as summarized by a one-page charter

5. Coaching is a process which includes:

a. A Field Coach who helps the church planter and the Church Plant Team pursue wisdom by meeting regularly with them for Planning and Review of church plant efforts (the PWR process) as designated by the team charter.
