considerations, the comments received, how comments were reconciled, and the case for acceptability and utility of WGDS ‐ R1 by the stakeholders. b. Working group chair should end presentation with a motion 3 on behalf of the working group for the acceptance and agreement of the WGDS ‐ R1. c. Stakeholder assembly chair shall invite discussion by the stakeholder assembly with a specified timeframe (especially if virtual or electronic assembly of stakeholders). 1) Stakeholder assembly may tweak and provide clarifications to the WGDS ‐ R1. 2) Type setting and editing will be part of the publication process and are not needed here. d. Stakeholder assembly chair shall call a vote after due consideration of assembly discussion, tweaking, and clarifications. e. Stakeholder assemble consensus draft standard (SACDS) is the document that stakeholders reach consensus to move to the approval stage. 1) Consensus is represented by 2/3 vote in favor of the motion to move the document to Stakeholder Assembly Consensus Draft Standard. f. Voting may be done in person or via electronic ballot. g. Any objections and appeals are noted and considered. h. If consensus is not reached on promoting the document to a stakeholder assembly consensus standard, then the assembly shall reach consensus on a list of all objections and recommendation that shall be presented to the working group. i. Staff to determine the next steps based on the stakeholder assembly consensus j. Announce outcomes of the stakeholder assembly, status of the draft standard, and next steps. OMB Review and Audit Process a. Assigned OMB liaison(s) work with staff to draft report to OMB on current status of the draft standard and the standard development audit report checklist 4 to support the development of the standard. b. Final version of stakeholder consensus draft standard is shared with OMB along with standards development audit report checklist. e. Upon consensus of OMB does a consensus draft standard becomes an approved AOAC standard ready for publication in the Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL. f. If the document is not ready for review and approval as a standard by OMB, then OMB shall review the stakeholder assembly consensus list of objections and recommendations against the standard development audit report to identify any obvious nonconformance in process or potential improvements to the process. g. Outcomes of the OMB deliberations and consensus shall be publicized in traditional AOAC venues and specific venues as appropriate. Publication of approved AOAC standards in the Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC  INTERNATIONAL  (OMA) a. Approved AOAC standard is sent to Publications department for publication. b. Approve AOAC standards will receive a designation and depending on the type of standard, may be published in specific sections of the print edition of the OMA and made available on the electronic OMA platform. c. Announcement of the status and publication of the approved AOAC standard will also be published. DRAFT c. OMB demonstrates consensus on development of the standard. d. Consensus is represented as 2/3 vote in favor of a motion 5 .
