TOURNAMENT FORMAT AND MATCH SCORING This year’s tournament format is Four Ball Round Robin Match Play. • There will be six teams in each flight. • Flights will be determined by aggregate team handicap index based on handicaps as of June 15th. • Flights 1-3 will play from the Blue Tees unless your age plus your handicap is equal to or greater than 72. All of the remaining flights will play from the White Tees. • The tournament will consist of five 9-hole matches. Each team will play one 9-hole match against all teams within their flight. • Each match must be completed within 2 hours. Holes not completed within 2 hours will be forfeited and no points earned. An additional 15 minutes will be allotted if conditions warrant carts being restricted to path. • Each hole is worth one point (1 point for winning a hole, ½ point for a tie). • Teams can earn a maximum of five points in any given match. • Players will receive half their course handicap for each 9-hole match with strokes allocated off the low handicap player in the match. Official scorecards will be marked accordingly. • Flights starting the tournament with five teams will have each team play one match against par. • If a default of a match occurs, the defaulting team will get “0” points, and the opposing team will play a 9-hole match against par. Maximum points awarded will be 5. • Match sequence: Match 1 1 vs. 6 2 vs. 5 3 vs. 4 Match 2 1 vs. 5 2 vs. 4 3 vs. 6 Match 3 1 vs. 4 2 vs. 3 5 vs. 6 Match 4 1 vs. 3 2 vs. 6 4 vs. 5 Match 5 1 vs. 2 3 vs. 5 4 vs. 6 • Flight winners will advance to “The Stampede Shootout” to determine our overall champions. If necessary, the flight tiebreaker will be a chip-off at #9. • Wildcards: There will be two teams that will receive a Wildcard entry to “The Stampede Shootout”. One team will come from Group A and one from Group B. The team with the highest points in each group on the final day will receive a Wildcard entry. The Wildcard entry is only used for teams that did not win their flight. • Weather: In case of inclement weather, play will be suspended. Play will resume as soon as possible. If play cannot be resumed, teams will be awarded points in accordance to holes won or halved. The remaining points will be divided equally between the two teams. If the shootout is cancelled, the team accumulating the most points will be the overall champions.

THE STAMPEDE SHOOTOUT

Our champions will be decided by a shootout of all flight winners as follows: Flight Group I will play holes #6 & #7 using an Alternate Shot Net Stroke Play format with two teams being eliminated on hole #6 and one team eliminated on hole #7. • Strokes will be determined at 50% of the team’s aggregate handicap and marked on the official shootout scorecard. Half strokes will be rounded up to the nearest stroke.

Flight Group II will play holes #1 & #2 using an Alternate Shot Net Stroke Play format with two teams being eliminated on hole #1 and one team eliminated on hole #2.

Flight Group III will play holes #10 & #11 using an Alternate Shot Net Stroke Play format with two teams being eliminated on hole #10 and one team eliminated on hole #11.

Ties after each hole will be broken with a chip off. Each partner will chip one ball. The team with the ball closest to the hole will advance.

Our surviving three teams will advance to hole #17 using an Aggregate Net Stroke Play format. One team will be eliminated on hole #17 and the other two remaining teams will advance to hole #18. Hole #18 will be played until we have a champion.

• Strokes will be determined at 100% of each player’s handicap and marked on the official shootout scorecard.
