The southern seashore’s housing market is all about diversity. Like its geography and towns, the selection comes in a wide variety. There’s a home for every lifestyle, taste and family – condos and townhomes, main street apartments, cul-de-sac streets of crisp single-family houses, waterfront cottages, stately beachfront estates and everything in between. So many places these days seem to offer a limited selection of cookie-cutter subdivisions. That’s simply not the case here. We have subdivisions, but they tend to have more character and variety than our neighbors to the north and west. Unlike New Jersey’s big-city suburbs, the choices go way beyond the ordinary. Southern New Jersey’s geography is a unique blend of ocean, bay, cityscapes, forests and meadows – and its neighborhoods take advantage of each unique locale. If you appreciate a big sky, the inland water- way offers horizons as far as the eye can see. Homes nestled among the mixed forest of pine, cedar and oak are prized by those who value privacy, quiet and the sights and sounds of wildlife. City dwellers have options, too – with neighborhoods both on the sea and on the mainland, each with its unique vibe and beat. In the beach towns, the choice is even greater – with quaint seashore cottages, condos with amazing views, solid, historic homes and custom-built architectural gems on the waterfront. Just about every style and budget are represented here. It’s all surprisingly compact, an easy drive from one point of view to the other, with an infrastructure of good roads and solid schools. There’s real value here, as real estate prices tend to be lower on average than in other parts of New Jersey making the area a much more affordable option School choice is as diverse as the community itself, with top-rated K-12 public and charter schools, secular and religious private schools, alternative and preparatory schools and a wide range of daycare and after-school resources. Top-ranked area high schools include Mainland Regional and Ocean City, and southern New Jersey is home to Stockton University, Rowan University, Rutgers University Camden, Cape Atlantic Community College and Cumberland Community College. Within a day’s drive is an almost limitless portfolio of higher learning institutions, including some of the world’s most respected Ivy League schools. In making your home here, you’ll find a house that complements your family’s lifestyle, educational needs and recreational pursuits, a neighborhood you can call your own and access to just about everything you could want or need.

This place truly has it all.
