The Royal County of Berkshire Show is organised by the Newbury & District Agricultural Society, which is a not-for- profit organisation and registered charity, whose primary aim is to promote our core charitable purposes as an Agricultural Society. Any surplus generated is used to help the Society’s running costs and our year-round educational programmes, which are delivered free of charge to schools throughout Berkshire and into neighbouring counties. At the same time we want to ensure the Show remains one of the region’s best days out for families and one which is a success for our traders, exhibitors and sponsors. Trade-stands, tickets and entry fees alone – if they are to remain affordable – are insufficient to allow us to put on a Show that remains one of the best in the Country. We could not do it without the support of our sponsors, to whom we are very grateful. For our business sponsors we very much hope that the value is reciprocal: brand association with a high quality event, and the promotion and business development opportunities that arise from a Show attended by some 55,000 people annually and which reaches even more through press and radio coverage and our growing social media presence.
