Mini-Circuits’ Ultra- Wideband MMIC Mixer Covers Applications from 5 to 21.5GHz! Mini-Circuits’ new MDB-24H+ ultra- wideband double-balanced MMIC frequency mixer provides an RF and LO frequency range from 5 to 21.5GHz and an IF frequency range from DC to 5GHz. Ultra-wideband coverage in a single device makes this mixer suitable for wideband systems such as defense communications and radar, as well as a wide variety of narrowband applications from WiFi through Ku band and more! The mixer operates on +15dBm LO power and provides low conversion loss (6.9 to 10.3dB), 44dB L-I isolation, 28dB L-R isolation, and +21dBm IP3. Fabricated using InGaP HBT technology, the MDB-24H+ integrates LO and RF baluns and comes housed in a tiny 4x4mm 24-pad MCLP™ package with low inductance, repeatable transitions, and excellent thermal contact to the PCB.
