FCIAAO TPP SEMINAR & PPS WORKSHOP - KISSIMMEE | DEC 2018

In December the FCIAAO held the annual TPP Semi- nar at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South. We had sixty-six TPP Professionals attend this year’s Seminar.

Prior to the Seminar the Chapter hosted IAAO Work- shop 853 - PPS Cast Study Review. Lisa Hobart, PPS, CAE, ASA brought her expertise and taught a very entertaining and informative workshop. Twenty-four TPP Professionals attended the Workshop as they work to obtain their PPS designations. We have a great group currently working toward a PPS Designation. Seminar topics included the IAAO’s update on the Standard of Valuation of Personal Property present- ed by Senior IAAO Instructor Lisa Hobart, PPS, CAE, ASA; VAB preparation and a Legal Update pre- sented by Hillsborough County’s legal council Will Shepard, Esq.; Social Media integration presented by Christine Centazzo from Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office; numerous industry presentations and TPP Jeopardy hosted by Steve Weissman from Palm Beach County. Will Shepard, Esq. was a consensus favorite presenter and the TPP Jeopardy was also a big hit with the crowd. Our goal as a Chapter is to promote educational offerings for all chapter members.
