A LIFEWITHRIU // EIN LEBEN MIT RIU UNAVIDA CONRIU

EN In the Canary Islands he gave training in the restaurant and bar service area until, in 1999, a new stage in his career began when he joined the department managing new openings. He started in Bulgaria and over the years travelled to different countries, including Egypt, Cyprus, Tunisia, Morocco, Malta, Cape Verde and Greece, to train new teams. “I’m convinced that the best thing that ever happened tome was meeting Luis Riu Beltrán. He gaveme the chance to work, learn and grow in a company that values hard work and honesty. There are no words to describe how thankful I feel for everything RIU has given me.”

DE Auf den Kanaren bildete R. Munar das Personal imBar- und Restaurantbereich aus, bis er 1999 eine weitere Stufe auf der Karriereleiter hinaufstieg: Ihmwurde eine Stelle imBereich Hoteleröffnungen angeboten. Seine erste Station war Bulgarien. Insgesamt bereiste er über 20 Jahre lang Länder wie Ägypten, Zypern, Tunesien, Marokko, Malta, die Kapverden und Griechenland, umdort das Personal neuer Hotels auszubilden. „Ohne Zweifel war das Beste, was mir inmeinem Leben passieren konnte, Herrn Luis Riu Bertrán kennenzulernen. Er gabmir die Gelegenheit bei ihm zu arbeiten, zu lernen undmit der Firma, in der harte Arbeit und Ehrlichkeit belohnt werden, mitzuwachsen. Ich finde kaumWorte, ummich bei RIU dafür zu bedanken, was diese Firmamir ermöglicht hat.”

ES En Canarias impartió formación en el área de servicio de comedor y bar hasta que, en 1999, llegó un nuevo salto en su carrera cuando se incorporó al área de aperturas. Comenzó por Bulgaria, y durante 20 años ha viajado a países como Egipto, Chipre, Túnez, Marruecos, Malta, Cabo Verde o Grecia para formar a los nuevos equipos. “No tengo duda de que lomejor queme ha pasado ha sido conocer a don Luis Riu Ber- trán. Con él tuve la oportunidad de trabajar, aprender y crecer en esta empresa en la que se valora el esfuerzo y la honestidad. No tengo palabras para agradecer todo lo que RIUme ha dado”
