OFF-LEASH DOG PARK | 7107 SOUTHBRIDGE PARKWAY Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily, year-round ■ 10-acre all-breed park area ■ .5-acre area for small-breed dogs only. This area is limited to dogs no taller than 13" at the shoulder that weigh no more than 25 pounds. ■ Water station ■ Trails The fee to use the dog park is included in the City of Shakopee Dog License. XCEL ENERGY MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK AT QUARRY LAKE PARK | 6201 INNOVATION BLVD. Hours: 6 a.m.–10 p.m. ■ Open to cyclists and snowshoers ■ The trail is closed while it is raining, or if tires leave tracks or ruts after rainfall events ■ Get up-to-date information on Xcel Energy Mountain Bike Trail by using the Trailbot app.

OUTDOOR ICE RINKS Shakopee Parks and Recreation’s outdoor skating rinks are open mid-December through late February, weather permitting.

Skating Rink/Warming House Locations: ■ Green Meadows Park , 3100 Thrush St.

■ Lions Park , 1103 Adams St. (no warming house) ■ Southbridge Park , 7101 Southbridge Parkway ■ Westminster Park , 801 Valley View Dr. Warming Houses will be staffed, depending on availability, Jan. 2–end of the season. WARMING HOUSE HOURS: Mon.–Fri.: 5:30–9 p.m. Sat.–Sun.: 1–8 p.m. RINK LIGHTS: To turn on push the Rink Lights button, near the rink entrance, between 4 and 10 p.m. Westminster Park lights are on an automatic timer and will turn on at sunset and turn off at 10 p.m.

COLDWEATHER POLICY: Rinks will be closed if the temperature is -10 degrees or colder, or if the windchill is -15 degrees or below. When in doubt, call the Recreation Hotline at 952-233-9502.

TRAILS Shakopee has a networked system of nearly 1,040 acres of parks and open space that include active, passive, developed and undeveloped park area, as well as more than 79 miles of trails .
