Allow the water to circulate into the barrel Using the brushes provided, brush around the wall of the hopper Empty the water from the machine Press “wash” again (light goes off) Step 2 Place one bucket of hot soapy manual pot wash detergent into the hopper Allow the solution to circulate into the barrel Press “Wash” mode Brush around the walls of the hopper and the mix feed hole Empty the solution from the machine Press “wash” again (light goes off)
Step 3 Repeat as above with a bucket of warm water
Turn machine off using toggle switch (under front left sill)
Soak and Sanitise
To ensure all parts of the ice cream machine is clean and sanitised:
Remove all components from the machine e.g. handle (refer to operators manual for detailed descriptions) Remove all o’rings from components (refer to operators manual) Wash parts thoroughly with hot soapy manual pot wash detergent pay particular attention to grooves and corners Rinse Leave all parts on a sanitised surface to air dry Place the o’rings on the parts and lubricate Use sanitising solution and brush the rear shell bearing of the machine Assemble the machine Leave the mix feed tube to the side of the hopper Place 1 bucket of diluted sanitiser into the hopper Allow to circulate into the barrel Turn machine on using toggle switch (under front left sill) Press “Wash” mode Leave for 15 minutes Empty the sanitiser from the machine Press “wash” again (light goes off)
