ENSURING SAFE USE OF THE PIZZA OVEN

 THE OVEN MUST NEVER BE CLEANED WITH PRESSURISED WATER OR WATER JETS TO AVOID ANY WATER PENETRATION ON THE OVEN STONE BASE.  Never put your hands into the oven to remove any burnt on pizza bases use the brush provided to avoid any burns  Check the cable and plug socket regularly for splits and burns  Do not use brushes or other tools that could damage the internal surface of the oven  Do not use brushes or other tools that could damage the external surface of the oven  If there is found to be a defect in any of above checks then the machine should not be used until a contractor has inspected it and deemed it safe.  Our Company will ensure that all portable electrical equipment is formally tested by a qualified electrician on a regular basis.  We all have a responsibility to make sure that the equipment looks safe before you use it and not to use if it looks damaged.  Check that the outer covering of the cable is not cut or shows signs of burning  Check the plug to ensure it is not damaged or that the coloured internal wires are showing where the plug meets the lead.  Check that nobody has taped a joint in the cable  Check the electric socket for damage before you plug it in. It should not be cracked or wobble about in the wall.  Remember report any defects to your manager. ENSURING ELECTRICAL SAFETY
