VEGETABLE SPIRALIZER

PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING EXERCISE: To ensure the team members are aware of the safe use of the vegetable spiralizer

TRAINING AIDS:  Vegetable Spiralizer  Company approved multi-purpose detergent and sanitiser

 Yellow Disposable cloth  Disposable Paper Towel  Grill scraper

TRAINING METHOD: This is a practical training exercise. The trainer should demonstrate how to use the Vegetable Spiralizer to the group whilst referring to these training notes EXPLAIN TO THE TEAM - THE VEGETABLE SPIRALIZER IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS APPLIANCE AND MUST ONLY BE USED BY TRAINED PERSONNEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS TRAINING SHORT.

ASK QUESTION TO GROUP: Why do we need to clean the Spiralizer after every use?

CONFIRM CORRECT ANSWER:  Reduce the risk of bacteria harbourage  To ensure the machine works effectively  To avoid risk of foreign body contamination  To avoid any allergies through cross contamination  It is a legal requirement to keep equipment clean.

Operating the machine Slicing Attach the two suction feet to the Vegetable Slicer, and secure to a clean flat surface

Securely place the food to be sliced on to the spiked food disc located on the front of the handle
