TRAINING METHOD: This exercise is run as a question and answer session. Discuss correct answers with the group.

EXPLAIN TO TEAM: It is illegal to have available for sale any food beyond its use by date. Any food that has reached the

end of its use by date/shelf life must be discarded immediately. Also, in MAB we do not use food beyond it’s’ best before date.

Food must never be relabelled to extend the shelf life. This is illegal and a disciplinary matter.
