Hints & Tips

 Keep oven cavity clean at all times including the roof.  Keep air filter clean and clear as this aids in the cooking process allowing air circulation  Always cook on the lower tray level to ensure effective cooking.  Do not take out oven roof at any time.  Never run oven empty when on Microwave convection mode.  Do not use tin foil at any time in the oven as this affects the cook times of the oven.  Do not remove the steam vent cover on the rear of the oven.  Always close the oven door to retain oven temperature.  Set Merrychef at 225oC and use at 75% microwave power when in use. ASK QUESTION TO GROUP: What must you use to remove debris and wipe out the merrychef for a daily clean? CONFIRM CORRECT ANSWER:  Detergent spray and paper towel/clean green cloth ASK QUESTION TO GROUP: Why must you never use foil as a food covering in a merrychef? CONFIRM CORRECT ANSWER:  It could start a fire, deflecting the heat source/microwaves back into the merrychef  It affects the cooking time
